What do I do after submitting a project through SolarAPP+?

1. Contractors can complete the process by visiting the City of Hanford's Self Service Portal.

2. If you haven't already, you must register for an account. Once signed in to your account, click on "Apply," then "All" under the "PERMITS" category.

3. Using the Application Assistant, search for SolarAPP+.

solarapp4. Begin application. In addition to payment information, be sure to have the following items from SolarAPP+.

-The pre-approved SolarAPP+ Approval Document 

-The SolarAPP+ Approval ID number

-Solar project specification sheets


5. Once the application is complete, the City of Hanford automatically issues a permit to the contractor.

6. Contractor may begin installation.

7. Contractor must schedule an inspection.
