Swim Lessons

Our swim lessons are thoughtfully designed to serve individuals of all ages and skill levels. From first-time swimmers to those looking to improve technique and endurance. Whether you're a toddler just getting used to the water, a child learning basic strokes, or an adult wanting to gain confidence in the pool, The Plunge offers a class that’s right for you. Led by certified and experienced instructors, each lesson emphasizes water safety, confidence-building, and the development of strong swimming skills. Our instructors create a welcoming and supportive environment that encourages progress at your own pace, while keeping the experience fun and engaging.Our swim lesson programs are structured in progressive levels to ensure that each participant is placed in a class that matches their age and skill level. With a focus on safety, skill development, and building confidence, our classes provide a positive learning experience for every swimmer.

Tiny Tot (Ages 3–5) This introductory class helps young children become comfortable in the water. Emphasis is placed on basic water skills such as breath control, kicking, and floating. The goal is to acquaint children with the pool environment and build their confidence, not to develop independent swimmers or serve as a "drown-proofing" program.

Guppies (Ages 4–6 years, 11 months) Designed for children who are new to swimming but ready to learn, this class introduces fundamental swimming skills including holding breath, floating, and basic movement through the water. While water safety is emphasized, this is not a "drown-proofing" program.

Beginner (Ages 5 & Up)This level is for school-aged children with little to no swimming experience. It focuses on the basics of swimming, including floating, kicking, arm movements, and introductory stroke development. Children will gain confidence and foundational skills to move safely and comfortably in the water.

Advanced (Ages 6 & Up) Open to participants who have completed the Beginner level or can independently swim a 15-yard crawl stroke with proper breathing technique. This class focuses on stroke refinement, including crawl stroke and elementary backstroke, as well as advanced breathing techniques and underwater swimming.

Swimmer (Ages 7 & Up) Swimmers at this level work on refining technique and increasing endurance. The class includes instruction in proper form for multiple strokes, treading water, and mastering the sidestroke. It’s ideal for children ready to build on basic skills and swim longer distances.
