Hanford Civic Auditorium

Planning a special Activity? The Hanford Civic Auditorium is a great place for your special celebration, family reunion, reception or business meeting. The west wing seats 50 and the Main Hall seats 500. Costs vary between rooms and types of functions.

Veterans/Senior Center
401 N Irwin Street
Consider holding your meeting, private party or small reception at the Veterans/Senior Center. The center offers a variety of room sizes from the 100 seating Veterans Hall to the 50 seated Meeting Room. Rates vary from room to room. Kitchen and equipment rental are extra.
The Longfield Center
560 S Douty Street
The Longfield Center is open Monday through Friday from 1 to 9 pm. Monday through Friday. Saturday's from 1 to 5 pm The Center has a gymnasium for basketball, racquetball, volleyball and a weight room. Also included is a game room for billiards, video games and ping-pong tables. The gymnasium is available for event rentals.

Skate Park

Hanford's Skate Park is open from sunrise to sunset seven days a week depending on weather conditions. Inline skaters and skateboarders are welcome to use the park. The law requires that you must wear a helmet and safety gear (knee and elbow pads.) Bikes are not allowed. All skating is done at the skater's own risk.
The Plunge

Come spend your hot summer days with us at The Plunge! "Kids" of all ages can find something to keep them cool. Our main pool consists of a shallow 3 1/2 feet side and a deeper side that gets up to 6 1/2 feet deep for the more advanced swimmers in the family. The slide is sure to be a hit that it is a fun and enjoyable diversion for children and adults at least 48 inches tall and able to swim. Please note that all children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. The Hanford Parks and Recreation department also offers swimming lessons. Shelters at the Plunge are also available for rent.
Community Garden Plots

Would you like the experience of growing your own fruits and vegetables? The Hanford Community Garden has 30 garden plots! Plots are available at no cost and are located at the corner of South Douty Street and Second Street next to the Longfield Center. Plots must be well maintained and cared for throughout the year.
